walkies
It would seem that Prestashop will not edit products or create new products and save them back to the mysql database.I am getting no errors however, if I click on Save & Stay when editing a product it will take me back to the catalogue. If I clone a product then it does clone it but any editing fails to save in the database. When I create a new product it fails to save the product in the database. Can anyone give a suggestion why this might be happening and how to fix please ? PrestaDesigner.com
Why not trying an update to 1.4.2.5? Also what's your server spec's?

walkies
OK Problem solved! If you have an internal server and are working from a Windows machine you should add a line to your hosts file... so in my case it was 192.168.0.21 www.dogcrafts.co.ukand save itrun a command window and type in the following:ipconfig /flushdnsThis appeared to do the following:Random issues solved, in my case; allowing new products to be saved, fast uploading of images was attained and editing of products to be completed successfully. The whole editing of dogcrafts is now fast with no issues with graphics or anything else that I can see at this time.It appears that prestashop was trying to upload to my router instead of the server and adding that line into your hosts file (windows only) resolved the problem...So if anyone else is having unexplained random problems on Prestashop then you could try this solution...... it worked for me!
