wolfstores.com
Hi,You can do this with the import module which is already installed in prestashop and import your products using a csv. Have a look here http://www.prestashop.com/wiki/Importing_Product_Data/ If you need more information have a look at the Prestashop User guide http://www.prestashop.com/download/Userguide_en.pdfImporting is discussed on page 153.Best regards,Tim
raxsix
Thanks for your replay, it was very helpful info, but i am still confused in some places. How to specify Categories (x,y,z...) field in csv file ?What fields should i deffinetly fill in ? i tryed to import test product with only 6 fields(name, reference, short description, wholesaleprice, price tax inc, image URL) but it gave me some errors and after that front page was so messed up..... wolfstores.com
Hey,Categories are imported by specifying the category IDs which is the category number not the name. Have a look at this thread there is a useful step by step pdf guide. You should backup your sql database before importing.Tim
