Stop subcategories from showing up while hovering main menu in Hummingbird

Hi

I am trying to stop the subcategories from showing up when hovering over the main menu categories, in the Hummingbird theme. 

I have managed to do this in a previous version, in Classic with the help of this thing in a css module: .top-menu .sub-menu{display:none !important}

but this doesn't do it anymore in Hummingbird. Any suggesstions?
