i can't set the image cover for a product

hello everyone.

i've installed prestashop 8.2.1 and i have a problem with image cover for a product. when i try to set image cover for a product the process of saving is ok but when i reload the page i can't see the image cover as you can see in the screenshot.

someone who can help me?

This behaviour is a known bug in PrestaShop 8.1/8.2 where you can click “set as cover” in the product image gallery but it doesn’t persist after saving; it’s been documented on GitHub (for example, Can’t set cover product image — https://github.com/PrestaShop/PrestaShop/issues/34646 and related reports such as https://github.com/PrestaShop/PrestaShop/issues/34534). GitHub+1 As of the latest 8.2.x releases there isn’t an official core fix specifically for this cover image behaviour in those branches, so the reliable workarounds are to disable the “New Product Page” in BO → Advanced Parameters → New & Experimental Features and retry, clear cache, or delete and re-upload images (first uploaded image becomes cover).
