radu_cmr
Last days I had a problem login in the back office store and I had to restore the database. I have made also some cache clearing. My surprise was that the modules are not sorted anymore on categories, only few of them, but the most are found on "Others category" More categories are empty now as could be seen on the picture: Administration, Design, Promotions, Product page and others. Any ideea why is that happened and how could be solved?
radu_cmr
Any ideea? Could have any in common with the fact I have update the PHP?
Andindeford61
I’d start by fully clearing the cache (manually delete /var/cache/prod) and then go through the Module Manager to reset or reinstall the modules that ended up in “Others.” That usually forces PrestaShop to rebuild the category assignments. If that doesn’t fix it, check the ps_module_category table in your database sometimes the restore scrambles the category links, and you can manually reassign them there. radu_cmr
Thanks for advise. As long I had problems with the login in the backoffice I have cleared the cache. As long we are talking about all the modules, including the theme is impossible to uninstall them. I'll check to see how could I restore the category manually
