Edgar Carreira
HI, I have a prestashop version 1.6.1.24, ecbike.pt, and since yesderday when a custumer place the order, he never receive the confirmation page, but the order is placed and saved in database, the problem is teh confirmation page keeps loading many time until 404 error. On backoffice I have a similar problem when I try to update the order status, when I change the status keeps loading and sometines doens´t update. I alredy turn off the e-mails sendings, I disabled the no natives modules, I also install a full back up from a previus days that all is working normaly and without success. Does anyone have any idea of the origin of the problem and how to solve it? Many thanks for the support Best regards Edgar Carreira
El Patron
what is your php version, in future make sure to post php version and other information from you admin information page. it could be that your hosting no upped the php version on your hosting. For PrestaShop 1.6, the most stable and secure combo is 1.6.1.24 + PHP 7.0 or 7.1, with Apache and MySQL 5.6–5.7. Anything newer (PHP 7.2 +) usually breaks core classes or third-party modules unless patched. also when I enter your shop (use chrome incognito to reproduce) there is https issue, see screen shot below. I see a lot of 404 on images..

As mentioned above "Anything newer (PHP 7.2 +) usually breaks core classes or third-party modules unless patched." for https, maybe also solved when you are running php compatible with 1.

El Patron
thanks for that info, I have to go out for now, beautiful day in Medellin, Colombia. I see other issues with your shop, images 404's, regenerate your .htacccess, see seo & urls, disable friendly url and then renable it.
