Try enabling debug mode in Advanced Parameters → Performance to see the real error message. Clear cache (/var/cache/prod) and check recently installed/updated modules or theme overrides please send the screen after enabling febug mode to be able to help. Note 9 is new, you may be better off with 8.2.2 but it's your choice of course. o Check PHP compatibility Look up which PHP versions are supported for your chosen PrestaShop release, and make sure your hosting environment matches. o Set PHP version on your hosting In your hosting control panel (cPanel is clunky — if possible, request Plesk in the future), set the correct PHP version for the domain you’ll be installing on. o Upload PrestaShop files Upload the ZIP file you downloaded directly to your domain’s root folder. o Unzip the package Extract the contents of the PrestaShop ZIP into your domain folder. o Create a database In your hosting panel, create a new database and user. Make note of the database name, username, and password — you’ll need them during installation. o Run the installer Visit your domain in a browser. The PrestaShop installation wizard should appear. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the setup.
