aeyf_layered_filter_block fills up - 1.5GB in about 24 hours now, keeps getting worse

Hey everyone, I am in need of help. I have used my Prestashop online store for about 3 years and I love it. Much appreciation to the design team!

For the past 4 months or so, my database keeps filling up fast - aeyf_layered_filter_block is the issue. I have to empty it every day now and sometimes sooner than 24 hours or my 2GB database fills up. My store isn't that big and traffic isn't that much. Any idea what might be going wrong or how to fix? I have tried to set up a cron job to clean it, that didn't work, but that also doesn't get to the root of the issue- why it fills up in the first place.
