Color Attribute and Values Not Working?

Fresh install (and a reinstall) running Version 9.0.0

Am I doing something  wrong or is this broken?

When trying to add values to a Color/Texture Attribute, there is no color picker. Oddly, when trying to add values to a Dropdown Attribute, there is a color picker. It seems like that should be the other way around...

See the screenshots for illustration of the issue. Attributes created:

Name: Color, Type: Color/Texture - No color picker
Name: Size, Type: Dropdown - Has a color picker

What is the issue?

Not a solution but a workaround to the issue... The color values can be updated directly in the database once the categories have been added. They will then be displayed correctly on the product page. Hope this helps.

Same Problem here.
Fresh install, the default attribute "Color" has a color picker
But as soon as i add an extra attribute like "Backgroundcolor" and add a value -> unable to pick the color. In the values list it just shows a black rectangle (color swatch).

Any fixes yet?

Same issue... At least, you may change color on DB, but you can't upload a texture... Which is a feature I need at my shop. I suppose it will be fixed on next update for Prestashop 9, but it's 3 months since then and nothing...

PrestaShop 9.0.0  is BETA, and should have never been portrayed as a stable relase, I never understand French open source, community tested without community, so many ruined upgrades or new users trying to build their business on 9.0.0,  only to  find base feartures do not work. rant over

There is a Regression bug(s) in 9.0.x where new attribute groups do not show the Texture / Color input fields in the Back Office. The UI simply omits the controls needed to assign colors or textures.

The attribute form UI has documented rendering problems (especially for “radio” or alternate attribute types) that hide or mis-handle expected fields.

Once a texture is uploaded, you cannot remove it in 9.0.x, and the color field cannot be cleared, unlike in previous versions.

These issues strongly suggest your problem is not due to your configuration or theme alone, but rather a core regression introduced in PrestaShop 9.0.0 and again, they should not have prompted people to use this, it's for developers only.
