jotaka
When I try to install prestashop 9 i get an error about too many files open, so I need to grow up this value (ulimit) but Prestahop docs doesn't say anything about thar, how many files need to open simultaneously? I think this must be detailed in requirements. Or is ther any other way to install the platform? Thanks
Knowband Plugins
Can you share the screenshot of the error? Btw ulimit should be increased from the server end. Check with the hosting to increase the same. 6 hours ago, jotaka said: Or is ther any other way to install the platform? Try iInstalling on the local and then upload the DB & code on the server. GroveMystic
ulimit is a Linux command that controls system resource limits like file size or number of processes. It helps prevent system overload by restricting excessive usage.
jotaka
Thanks Yes, I installed in local then uploaded to server, and now when I try to enter backup I get the same error. The frontend works fine.
