Delivery options

Hello.

Latest version 9.0.0

I have recently started using Prestashop and would like some help.

I am trying to get it to work with delivery options.
I want to use the already installed "Picked up by customer", but I can't get it to work.

I have selected the zone where this option should be available.
I have then registered as a customer, with an address in this zone.
But when I add an item to the cart and go to check out, I get an error message that there are no delivery options.

Can anyone please help me in the right direction?

only expanding on @compsoul.dev checklist.  espeically the last, payment method

1. Check Carrier Zone Settings

  • Go to Shipping > Carriers.
  • Edit the “Picked up by customer” carrier.
  • Make sure the correct zone(s) are selected under the “Shipping locations and costs” tab.

2. Check Carrier Group Restrictions

  • In the same carrier settings, look for the “Group access” section.
  • Make sure the customer group you’re using (usually “Customer” or “Guest”) is checked.

3. Check Carrier Shop Associations (Multistore)

  • If you have multistore enabled, make sure the carrier is assigned to the right shop.

4. Check Product Settings

  • Edit your product, and in the “Shipping” tab, check that the product’s “Available carriers” includes “Picked up by customer.”
  • Note: It’s generally not recommended to manually assign specific carriers to products, because if you add a new carrier later, it will not be automatically associated with those products—you’d have to manually update each one. It’s better to leave “Available carriers” blank so all active carriers apply by default (unless you have a specific need).

5. Check Cart Weight and Size

  • The carrier has min/max weight and size settings. Make sure the cart content matches these settings, or try relaxing them.

6. Check Carrier Activation

  • Ensure the carrier is enabled and not set to “disabled.”

7. Check Available Payment Methods

  • If you see “No available payment methods for this delivery option” at checkout, it means no payment module is enabled for this carrier and customer group.
  • Go to Payment > Preferences (or Payment > Payment Methods in newer versions).
  • Make sure your desired payment methods are enabled for the “Picked up by customer” carrier and the correct customer group.

  • 3 weeks later...

Go to the product in Catalog > Products, then:

Open the Shipping tab.

Ensure the dimensions and weight are not zero (0), or they must fit within the carrier’s defined range.

Confirm that the product is set to be available for delivery.
