Fixing Admin Panel Speed Issues in PrestaShop 8.2

Recommended Posts

Hi everyone,

After upgrading to PrestaShop 8.2, I've been noticing that the admin panel is running slower than usual. Page load times are longer, especially when switching between different sections like product management or order processing. I'm wondering if this is related to the new features or a performance issue with the update.

Has anyone else experienced this slow-down in the admin panel? Any tips or solutions to improve speed and performance within PrestaShop 8.2?

By the way, while sorting out the backend performance, I’ve also been browsing some modern pieces to upgrade our office lounge — found some nice options here: https://dreamdecor.com/collections/sofa

Hi @Sara Young

To help diagnose what’s causing the slow admin panel, it’s really helpful to know more about your server environment and setup. PrestaShop makes it easy to find and share this info—just follow these steps:

How to Get Your Environment Info from PrestaShop Back Office:

  1. In your PrestaShop admin panel, look for the menu on the left side.
  2. Go to Advanced Parameters and select Information from the dropdown menu.
  3. This page will show details about your PrestaShop version, PHP version, memory limit, server info, database version, and more.
  4. Scroll down and you’ll see a section labeled Server Information (and possibly Database Information as well).
  5. Highlight and copy the information from this page—but please remove or hide your domain name/website address before posting.
  6. Paste the remaining details here in your reply.

This info helps everyone in the community understand your setup and make more targeted suggestions for improving admin performance!
