Problems with ps_facebook (PS Social) Module

Hello guys!

We are having problems with linking our Facebook-Page to our PrestaShop via the "ps_facebook" module.

Last year we migrated our facebook page from "Business Portfolio OLD" to "Business Portfolio NEW". This was while trying to set up the ps_facebook module. We already connected the account once, while still in the OLD portfolio.

In the end we had migrated the facebook page sucessfully, and were still trying to set up the ps_facebook module. Everything worked fine until the last step: image.thumb.png.73daaec125f522ddbf0f5b6741aa146b.png

In the following Pop-Up we type in the correct facebook account (definitely has full access to the new, right business portfolio), click on continue and this windows pops up:

(The greyed out text says: ... of the business Manager "OLD PORTFOLIO")

Said old portfolio doesn't even exist anymore and the page was definitely claimed by the NEW portfolio (facebook support acknowledged that aleady)

I had a lot of contact with facebook support already. My first thought was that because this happens in a "facebook window" with a facebook url and so on it has to have something to do with facebook. But after going back and forth with their support for months I think I am better of trying my luck here now and finding somebody that had the same problem.

One fact that also leads me to thinking it is something PrestaShop / Module related is the following fact:
No matter which facebook account I use, it ALWAYS leads me to the OLD Portfolio - even when the account never had something to do with the portfolio. If I am not going completely wrong here, this means, that somewhere in the module there have to be traces of the old portfolio at least (maybe cached? api-token?)

I read something about DB Entries that are unaffected by Module reinstall / uninstalls, but at this point I am not quite sure if thats the issue

Thank you all very much in advance!

Hello guys, this is not fully solved, so I will not mark it as such. But if somebody has the same problem:

I guess I found part of the solution at least:

In the URL of the popup-windows there are many values attached. One of them for example is the "external_business_id" - right now it looks like that causes the problem. Somehow the old parameters become part of the URL (that gets created when clicking "Set up facebook")

I guess I have to reach out to a PS-dev, that knows where those informations stem from.
