Can not link shop

Ok, so whats the trick to get a shop linked? Emails are valid and the website is accessible and maintenance mode is off.

Man, between this and the amount of data mining Prestashop does, I'm not sure I want to use it. Not a great experience so far.

60 views and not one suggestion?

So extra detail here... brand new PS 8.2.1 install. Multistore is setup and sites are accessible. Firewall is not blocking any or presta's backend api ips.

When clicking the "Link" button in the backend, both sites come up with checkbox checked and blue globe icon next to them.

Clicking "Accept and Associate", I assume it's accessing both sides, but still fails on "Shops validation"

Tried with stores enabled and in maintenance mode. Do I need to setup the data straw api to get it to work?

I don't get it. May just scrap the the thought of using this.

And never mind... just blew up the install up by deleting the add on multi-store shop. Im done with Prestashop. Waste of my time this weekend.

Well I found some time to try this again.

Checking back later, the site was back up again after deleting an add on shop in multishop.... not sure why it would take 10+mins to clear an error but whatever.

Talked with support on linking shops. Allowed some IP's through firewall. The "Link" Shops on the dashboard page still didn't work, just get white page. But if I used the "link" button under: Module Management > Serach "Account" > Then configure, select each store at the top > Click "Link" > and they link fine.

I see that I'll have to ask PS Support for help on these issues now. 200+ views and no response.... that alone makes me skeptical of using PS. If they make it so complex and intertwined with their required data collection, how can you expect a normal person that just wants to run a store to do it without screwing things up.
