Prestashop 8.2.1 database size increasing too much due to analytics or visit tables

I have a big problem on the size of the database since I updated from 1.7 to 8.x

I had a database of 35mo and now since this update the size can reach 1,4go in one week.
Each day the analytics tables increase their sizes with a large amount of lines.

tables are :

ps_layered

ps_connections

Ps_connections_source

and guests I think.

I deactivated Prestashop metrics and marketing.

How can I stop Prestashop recording all the sources and visits like this ?

Is there a fix to that ?

still "ps_connections_source" increasing : triple the size in 12 hours...

how can I deactivate the recordings filling this table ?

the source picture is deleted, so maybe somebody can attach one to be like an answer for solving the increasing  DB problem? Moved from 1.7.7.2 because of overfilling var/sessions folder, to 8.2. No more problems with sessions folder, but after 3 weeks i see increasing size in DB, specifically in higher mentioned tables. Another question will be - is it safe to clear data from these tables?

Get rid of the spiders. Use robots.txt in the base folder to filter them out. That seems to be helping me, so far. Block IPs of frequent bots if you need to.
