[solved] wholesale price of a product?

Hello everyone,

I am using Prestashop 1.7.8. I also enter a wholesale price for the products in the backoffice. Everything looks fine there.
But when I look in the database in the field prstshp_product.wholesale_price, I see a value that does not match the value I entered.
I do see a change in the value when I make an adjustment in the backoffice, but it is not the same. But the other way around, when I adjust that field in the database, I do not see it in the backoffice.
Who can explain this?
And does anyone have an idea how I can use the purchase value of a product from the database?
