Esprit
Hello I have PS 8.1.4. I have categories and sub-categories. Sometimes I have products in categories and sometimes in sub-categories - sometimes I don't need a sub-category. How do I show my products in the correct place without showing all of them? I have tried all possible option in Faceted search and that works perfectly if I all my products are in either categories or sub-categories but not in both ! I've searched in the forums for answers but not found anything specifically linked to my issue. Thanks in advance for any help. 😊
Esprit
Well no takers on this What I have discovered is that you cannot have products in categories and then products in sub-categories - it's either one or the other. Trouble is some of my categories don't need sub-categories but I have to create one otherwise I have trouble displaying my produces - they all end up underneath categories AND in sub-categories OR just in sub-categories. so rather than have a messy set up I shall have to double a category as a subcategory. If anyone can shed any light on this please do.
Webkul Solutions
You can manage your product display concerns inside the categories from the Faceted Search module configurations. There are two options in the Faceted Search module configuration. 1) Show products from subcategories - Enable this option if you want to show products of a category & its subcategory. Check this: https://prnt.sc/JN9iI7Jr2Q9V 2) Show products only from default category - Enable this option if you want to show products in the default category only. Check this: https://prnt.sc/1_K1vZzcLyP8 You can set the product visibility in categories as per your requirement by exploring the Faceted Search module configuration.
