[PS 8.2.1] Manufacturer Page: how add an intro text after brand list

H to all,
 in manufacturer page I would add an intro text (multilanguage ITA e ENG) after manufacturer list but i don't know how!
One idea could be create a CMS page where insert my intro text and then add manufacturer list but adding code in some way into CMS page (I don't know if is possibile).

Change the template file and display a short description on the top and a long description on the bottom.

Add the content in the long description from the backend.

Template file in default theme.

It should not be possible to add code to CMS pages but editing the manufacturer template should work though.

I have a manufacturer list page where there are all brand with their products, on top before first brand I would add a text like in the category page.

The page is created through the CMS in BackOffice or is a separate module / controller?

Is not a normal feature from PS?
If not it is a custom page from Theme and so i should ask to the theme developer?

This is the default page of the Prestashop but there is no option in the Prestashop to add the text on the top of the page. You need to edit the template (code file) to do the same.

File: themes/classic/templates/catalog/brands.tpl

Try adding the text in the above file like

{l s='Your Text.....................' d='Shop.Theme.Catalog'}

 

and try to translate the same from the Admin -> Translation Tab -> Frontoffice Translation.

Editing a text directly in the file is inconvenient, we hope that in the new versions of prestashop they add a text field (with editor) like for category page.

This is a one-time activity, after which translations can be managed directly from the admin panel.

While I don't believe this is a very common request, you're still welcome to raise it with PrestaShop on GitHub as the feature or bug requests posted on the forum will not be noticed by the PrestaShop team.
