optionsmegastore
hi all , im using prestashop 8.2 and without even modiyuing nothing, my backoffice started loading so damn slow. and weird colors like it's some old prestashop version there. and after so much of a reasearch, people are saying there's a problem with prestahsop edition basic which i never ever noticed was there, however, when i delete the module, "home" and dashboard disappears . and still theme looks like its some 1.6 and not 8.2 . and when i reinstall the module, still backoffice looks weird. anyway. if anyone have any clue of how to solve this, i dont want to restore some old backup and lose a lot of data. thank you,

QuickUpdate.net
it's not a joke for those who do not know about such "issues", see this thread maybe it helps: more specifically: Quote Prestashop uses unpkg .com as a CDN for the back-office template assets. The CDN is currently down, as you can see https://www.unpkg.com/status/ . It should come back up soon, I guess they are working on it. I disabled the new theme, since the old theme has all the files hosted on the server and is not affected by unpkg CDN issues. Once it is back we can use the new theme again. ps8modules
Hi. Uninstall ps_edition_basic module. The white administration theme will be removed and everything will be fine.

ps8modules
When the new theme no longer loads js and css from an external source, you can revert back to the basic edition.

optionsmegastore
i believe problem was fixed. but when i click the prestashop logo on top button, it's returning to 404 page onto the frontpage which is weird.i checked my settings.inc.php and found nothing but <?php //@deprecated 1.7 not sure if the fix should be manual now, or is it handled by prestashop
