Gfinfo web
Hello, I am customizing a PrestaShop installation on my localhost. At the same time, I have an online installation where the client is adding products to the website. Is there a way to import the products from the online version to my localhost, so I don’t have to make major changes directly on the live site when uploading my updates? QuickUpdate.net
You can export the database from online and import it on your local setup.
Gfinfo web
But won’t that misconfigure my modules on the current installation on my localhost? The differences are significant.
QuickUpdate.net
Ok if they are very different you either only export the "correct" tables only and import them to your local setup or do some kind of import/ export only for products with a script or some alternative method. Gfinfo web
Thank you! I will look that up in the forum. By any chance, does anyone have a method to share or know of a post in the forum about this?

Gfinfo web
More specifically, I’m looking for a step-by-step tutorial on how to select the correct tables and import them. I am not very experienced with SQL.
