Changing fields in checkout steps v1.7.6.9

Hello,

I've been searching for some time now on how to remove some fields in the checkout forms, but have no luck with finding the files. I don't need the one where you can enter a website and another field for phone number 2, etc.... I've looked in mytheme/templates/checkout/_partials/steps and other such places, but I can't find a block labeled “Website” or “Phone number”....

Is there something i'm missing here? I have warehouse theme installed and basically i have to look in both theme folders for files because that is how PrestaShop does this...some files are in one theme and other in another.

I know this topic has been around, but i can't find relevant information for my case. I also added a image of the fields i'm talking about....

Hi,

Thank you for the response.... I looked around in locations, but for some reason i didn't go to edit countries. Now it all makes sense. Because you were so kind to respond, perhaps you could answer another question.

1)I deleted what i needed from Address format, saved it and cleared the cache, but nothing changed. I am new to PrestaShop and the website is large and don't want to get some freak errors from whatever reason, so perhaps you could give me some further guidance. I'm guessing i have to click on “Use my current modified format” and not just save right? The same question goes for the other “Optional” fields, will this perhaps cause some problem for the users that already filled some fields out?

2)How can you tell what fields are mandatory or optional?

1/ you should test on a staging site 😉
2/ look at all forms in front you want to change and you'll see optional fields
