d2iautosound
Hello all i have an issue which i thought would be easy fix but it isn't available as standard. I have a kit that i sell on my website which contains multiple products. I can make it a pack of products to easier track inventory so that way if 1 product is out of stock then no one can order etc that's fine but the issue is people can upgrade the kit from the standard kit and choose different parts. For example: Standard tank is a 3 Gal aluminium tank but people can choose a 3 gal steel or a 5 gal steel tank In the past i have done this as a product with combinations which works as intended but have to manually update stock if i have any 1 of the items out of stock so always have to keep track of all the products that could be used in the kit and if 1 of them is out of stock then go into all combinations and set to 0 for stock. Id like to be able to do a pack of products but still retain product combinations where the chosen combination is another product in the store if this makes sense. The combinations will be Tank type, Gauge colour, Compressor type and Airbag type. Does anyone know a way around this? Thanks Edited January 21 by d2iautosound (see edit history)
Prestashop Addict
Hi, for that you need to change pack mechanism in PS core. We developed a similar approach with proposal pack where the customer can change combination if not available, here is a sample.
