Mike Kiy
Hi all Hope this experience helps others. I have a simple development site - upgrading from 8.1.7 to 8.2.0. 6 x 3rd party modules installed, all of which gave errors in the Back office after the upgrade. All non-responsive in the Front Office. As an example the message with Creative Elements was: Cannot Enable module creativeelements. The override file /home/mwywdwco/public_html/modules/creativeelements/override/classes/Supplier.php conflicts with an existing override in /home/mwywdwco/public_html/override/classes/Supplier.php. Modules involved in the site were: Creative Elements, 2N Technologies Backup and Restore, Advanced Cookie Banner, Stripe Payment Module, Shipping Fees Based on Zipcodes, Form Builder Pro. Solution was to go to each module in the module manager, select 'Uninstall' - take care NOT to select the 'delete module folder after uninstall' button. Proceed with Uninstall process. When uninstalled immediately select 'Install' and re-install the module. Repeat for all the 3rd party modules. Now they all work as they should. Thanks to the developers at WebshopWorks for the tip - I am their number 1 fan.
