Changing default specific price in admin page

Prestashop 8.1.7

I'm looking for a way to change default reduction type of a specific price for a product. Default is "amount" and i want to have "percentage" as default(i do only this type of discounts and i don't want to change it every time i want to add a specific price to a product).

Any solution? Where should I look for it to change?

Yes, i've thought so, tried to find something there but at the moment its too hard for me.

It would be a great QoL improvement for me.

It is not recommended to modify PS core. You'll loose your modification en case of update/ipgrade

We have checked your issue and as per your requirement we have added a module please install this module it selected percentage by default in specific price popup in product.

Attached the module 
 

In your PrestaShop admin panel, go to Advanced Parameters > Performance, and click Clear Cache.

Verify it in the product add screen. Review the screenshot for reference if needed.
