leonvanessa
HI, could you help me with an answer to the following questions: 1. If you go from a multi lenguage to a multisite with 1 back office, and you need 6 sites/lenguages, how long this this take an dis it a very complicated task to change to? 2.Is it possible to have a brochure as an Ipaper form and not just a normal PDF form. Thank you
Knowband Plugins
Decide how each site will be structured and what the relationship between the sites will look like: Domain/Subdomain Setup: Determine if each site will have its own domain (e.g., example.fr, example.de) or use subdomains (e.g., fr.example.com, de.example.com). Separate Products/Content: Decide if each site will offer unique products or content, or if they’ll share the same catalog with only language differences. Localization Needs: Plan for currency, tax rules, shipping methods, and other location-specific settings for each site. Step 2: Enable Multistore Mode Access Multi Store Settings: In the PrestaShop back office, go to Advanced Parameters > Multistore. Enable Multistore: Click the Enable Multistore button. This will add a new Multi Store menu in your back office

Thank you leonvanessa, transitioning from a multi-language setup to a multisite with 6 sites in PrestaShop can be a bit of work, but it’s manageable with careful planning. Here’s a quick breakdown: It depends on your current setup and how well-prepared your site content is for each location. If you already have products, translations, and localization data, the change could take a few days to set up and test thoroughly. However, syncing settings for each country (taxes, shipping, currencies) will require attention, so it might take longer if you need to configure those from scratch. Testing will be essential to ensure the switch is smooth and no data is lost. You can use an iPaper format instead of a PDF. There are tools like FlipHTML5 or Issuu that can transform PDFs into interactive, flip-style brochures. You can integrate these into your website and provide a more engaging experience for your users.
