Create company customers instead of people customers

I do B2B and all my customers are companies. Those companies have a company name not a Forename and Surname. How do I switch off Forename and Surname in the customer edit form and make the company name field mandatory? Thanks

To remove 'Forename' and 'Surname' and make 'Company Name' mandatory using only admin settings:

1. Make Company Name Mandatory:
- Go to International > Locations > Countries in the admin panel.
- Select your country and make the Company Name field mandatory.

2. Disable Forename and Surname:
- Go to Shop Parameters > Customers > Titles.
- Configure customer fields and disable Forename and Surname if the option is available, or switch to using only the Company Name field.

This will adjust the form using only admin settings.

Thanks. But both ways do not exist here. I am on 8.1.7.

You have to edit the country option. from the listing on International > Locations > Countries. You can remove the firstname and lastname

For marking the company name mandatory
Go to Customers > Addresses depending on which section you want to manage.
Click on "Set required fields for this section"
