As Microsoft will retire SMTP Basic Auth in 2025, will Prestashop support OAUTH in later version?

Hi, Prestashop use symfony swiftmailer library which is compatible with OAUTH authentication.

Hi all, do you know of any solution to support of Oauth for the prestashop backoffice emails. I'm using gmail in two prestashop websites and google is stopping the support of password based authentication.

Google is retiring the less secure app. The App password to send the email will continue to work.

Hi, yes, thanks, I confirmed the same later yesterday... in the email that I had received from Google workspace was not clear at all, but Google Workspace support team clarified that App password (not the user account password) would continue to work.... Double authentication needs to be created and then an app specific password can be created....
