Prestashop Marketplace + Module Update (PS 8.1.5)

Good morning,

A few weeks ago I uninstalled PrestaShop Marketplace because it was creating problems but now I no longer receive any updates in the BO regarding the modules installed.

The fact that PS Marketplace automatically creates a superadmin that, you can't delete if you don't completely cancel PSMarketplace, I really don't understand.

I use Prestashop v. 8.1.5.

Does it happen to you too? How did you solve it?

Hi,

Few Debugging tips:

• In some cases, reinstalling the PrestaShop Marketplace module and then uninstalling it again through the back office might help clean up any leftover configurations.
• Check if the modules that you need updates for are listed correctly. Sometimes, modules might still appear here even after uninstallation if they were not properly removed.
• Clear the PrestaShop cache to ensure that any cached data related to modules is refreshed.
• Sometimes, uninstalling a module through the back office might not fully remove all traces from the database or files. So, Make sure that all files related to the PrestaShop Marketplace module are deleted from your server.
• Manual Removal from Database:
  • Backup your database before proceeding.
  • Access your database (via phpMyAdmin).
  • Look for tables related to PrestaShop Marketplace or any modules that were causing issues.
  • Carefully delete entries related to these modules from the database.
