Je souhaite faire un overrride de la main class ps_emailalerts.php pour ajouter une variable {total_discounts_tax_excl} dans le template de mail "new_order" (les discounts dans les mails sortent en TTC quel que soit le paramétrage).

J'ai suivi la procédure : placé mon fichier comprenant une classe avec le suffix Override qui extends la class d'origine dans le dossier override/modules/ps_emailalerts/ps_emailalerts.php avec la fonction impactée modifiée (public function hookActionValidateOrder($params)).

J'ai cleané les caches (via BO et manuellement).

L'override n'est pas pris en compte (pire le mail "new_order" ne part plus). Pas d'erreur en mode debug cependant.

Je dois avoir oublié un élément ou mal réalisé l'override car les modifs appliquées à la class d'origine du module fonctionnent.
