Hab eine Lösung:

Hab einfach die Dateien von presta 1.7.8.7 runtergeladen und über meine Installation (1.7.8.0) drüber kopiert.

Front- und Backend funktionieren nun wie gewünscht.

I got a solution:
since the backend was broken I could not use "1 click upgrade".

I downloaded prestashop 1.7.8.7 and copied the files over my 1.7.8.0 installation.

Front- and backend now work as expected.
