Change comment review from 3 stars to 5 stars for default

I updated my product comments rating stars default from 3 to 5 using this advice here and this file.

/your site/themes/your theme/modules/productcomments/views/templates/hook/post-comment-modal.tpl

I followed these instructions and i too have the issue when you click a second time to open the review window it defaults back to 3. Any solutions?

On line 78 change data-grade="3" to data-grade="5". Maybe it can be useful for Prestashop 8.0.

For everybody seeking for a solution: 

1) The above mentioned will result in a standard 5 star rating after opening the comment section for the first time. As you close it and open it again, it falls back zu 3 stars by default. 

2) Change the code as mentioned above this post and additionally: Go to /modules/productcomments/views/js/post-comment.js and search for: 

$('#post-product-comment-form .criterion-rating input').val(3).trigger('change');

and change it to

$('#post-product-comment-form .criterion-rating input').val(5).trigger('change');

 

I am using Prestahop 9.0.1. Hope this helps.
