projectpb Posted April 29, 2011 Share Posted April 29, 2011 i am not sure is this is right section. i have fresh install of 1.4.1 maybe 2 mods installed know to work with 1.4 using google checkout and ups. when doing a test order everything goes well but then i get a Payment error. It looks like the cart is sending google the tax and shipping witch is wright but not sending it to the order page when when the order is sent back to site with amount the system sees an over payment the the price sent back from googles it the correct one pic below Edit the taxes are not being passed also UPDATE 5/25/11 i have attached the Dev Version of the google checkout and the UPS modules. Vincent Schoener a Core Developer for presta fixed my install and informed me that the DEV version was fixed as well. as far as i know all that needs to be changed is the gcheckout and the upscarrier module with the one below. do not just replace them. Rename the old one to something like gcheckout_old so if it breaks your shop u can rename the original one. Uninstall the old modules in BO then change the name of the old folder and install the corrected one as if u was installing a new module. First rule is to back up and more backup Ok i just tested this in a new install and it is working fine but i forgot to ask what he changed to fix the tax problem i was having i will email Vincent and see what he did to fix that taxes and i will post it in here.As for the install of the modules it is simple as said before just back up remove and install using the zip files and the BO module install.Thanks Jeff upscarrier.zip gcheckout.zip Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

The payment would register at paypal and when it sends it back to BO, the shipping somehow is dropped causing a payment error (Over Payment ). I am curretnly using PS 1.4.017 with paypal 2.4. BTW how did you set up your google checkout. I can't seem to get it to even register back to the BO. It can send the order to google but the never even registers it. I am running 1.4.1 i think they fixed some bugs in the google checkout module. 1.4.1 is using Google Checkout v1.1. I have it setup with sandbox and on the google side the API version 2.2 selected. for google to work u MUST have SSL active and for now turn off the Caching. I have no idea whats going on with them but i would think getting the chekout working right would be more of a priority the some new template system that 1.5 will have .
