Show categories in left side.

Hi

I want to show categories in left menu for my site and now it is showing fine.

But I dont want to show all categories in menu, I just want that only 10 categories show in menu.

Is it possible?

Please help me..

I want to it in this way...add a field 'show_menu' in category_lang table and when admin add or update the category, he can select this option and field will updated after submitting form.

What i have to do to show those categories which is choose by admin in front menu.
