Trying to install mail alerts, with the error "error installing undefined module", from the module catalog search. After pressing twice  install, the prestashop shop doesn't work anymore. I changed to debug mode manually through FTP directly in the file but the error remains the same, regardless of starting the shop or going to the admin:

Internal Server Error

The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.

Please contact the server administrator at [no address given] to inform them of the time this error occurred, and the actions you performed just before this error.

Any suggestions ? The only errors being show in the server log are:

.htaccess: Option FollowSymLinks not allowed here
