It may be because you only turned on the SSL but not the other option, Enable SSL everywhere too.
To restore, access your ps_configuration table with console/phpmyadmin/other and change the value of PS_SSL_ENABLED to 0; if somehow PS_SSL_ENABLED_EVERYWHERE is set to 1 switch it to 0 either.
