Prestashop 1.6.1.17 very slow at BO and Order confirmation step

Hello Everyone,

Issue 1: BO very slow specially when we login as Admin

Issue 2: at Order page when customer selects carrier after that it takes around 8-10 minutes to go to Payment page.

I am maintaining a website developed in PS 1.6.1.17 since 2017. It was performing fine. There are around 150 products only and website do not very high traffic. Since last month we are facing BO very slow to login specially when we login as Admin. For other BO users with limited functionality are not facing any issue. So, I searched everywhere and disabled Gamification module and also tried disabling Stats. But no luck. Earlier it was on shared server so we thought it needs more resource so we migrated it to VPS, still same issue.

Second issue is at Order page when customer selects carrier after that it takes around 8-10 minutes to go to Payment page. I checked in developer mode at browser but nothing significant found to worry.

For both the cases there is no logs being written in Error files of PS as well as Server.

 

Please help to deal with the situation.

been there last year .. first turn off non native modules, overrrides and chceck, also turn on profiling (https://dh42.com/blog/prestashop-debug-profiling/) 

but what i did was migrating to TB - which solved my case (bo speed)

Thank you very much for your suggestion. Debug profiling helped me greatly to find out the root cause. It was Payment Gateway module. Currently disabled it and reported them, waiting for swift solution.
