chief
Last week on friday 17/07/20 was the last day i was adding features to products. So what i normally do is choose new feature, then type 88 (my features have always has the ID on the left) and then choose the correct value from list, and the repeat. Now all ID's are missing from all my features inside products. All features & products -> features are there with their own ID's, just from within products are they missing. now it takes much longer to scroll through dave
PrestaServicePro
Hello. What is the current PS version? Do you mean this list: https://jmp.sh/wHU6JRZ ? Did you make some modifications for this list?

I used this info have rolled the changes back and recompiled the theme, it didnt alter anything. other than that, i havent changed anything Edited July 21, 2020 by chief (see edit history)
chief
has anyone fixed or experienced missing ID numbers when adding features to products??? - Bump to top
Guest
Check the tables in the database. especially ps_feature_ .... If you think everything is fine, it will be better to hire someone to fix the problem. That way, it will still be just speculation.
chief
Ok, But.. on a fresh install of latest version.. the same thing is appearing, features are there, but they no longer display the ID at the beginning. Fine to employ someone, but i would rather learn why first or attempt it. --edit-- Just checked the prestashop demo site and it is also not displaying the ID at beginning. any takers on where this thread will lead or where i need to look.. Thanks Edited July 25, 2020 by chief adding more info (see edit history)

Guest
I would like to advise, but unfortunately I do not understand. It is possible that this was an adjustment by the previous owner.
chief
Sorry, what dont you understand. Last week, each feature displayed its ID number to the left of each one. So in image above the top feature...."display size range" was something like "125: display size range". As selecting from my list of features I have over 180, and I used to just type the ID number and the feature box chose that. I dont know what changed or who changed it. But it's no longer there. Guest
The problem is that only you know how it was originally. It's nice that you put the picture, but it's not there where the id was, etc .... As I already wrote to you, it was an adjustment, it is not a standard display of Prestashop. Another possibility is that a module has been installed for editing, which is either disabled or has been licensed for another domain, etc .... Realize that for experts it is a matter of time. We go to the forum to advise in our free time. No one will deal indefinitely with your problem, which cannot be identified due to lack of information. If it was a Prestashop error without interfering with third-party codes, you would already get an answer to the solution. chief
I want to see the ID of my products as i have 173 features, like i have been explaing. Displaying the ID makes managing features quicker.. I have inspected the feature and i can see its there. <option value="2">Colour</option> like so. Can someone advise me on what file i need to edit to display like.. 2 : Colour thanks
Guest
So I think you write features but you mean combinations. Search switch (radiobuttons) standard product and product with combinations.
