2 modules not showing changes on live site

I am having a problem with both the image slider and custom text block. In firefox they show fine, they show the changes. But in chrome they don't. I got a friend to access the site on their phone and they also were seeing the standard text not the new text I have put in. I have gone through the admin to delete the cache there. Then I also went into filemanager on cpanel  and deleted smarty/cache.

 

Is there something stored somewhere else I have to delete? If I disable the module it shows straight away in all the browsers. But when I enable the module again it shows the correct version in firefox and the stock version in chrome.
