Module issue - sql error

Hi everyone,

i am facing issue when i try to open configurations of a module while in debug mode, you can see the sql error in below screenshot.

how ever without the debug mode the module will open but wont show the saved line (in database it exist)

and i tried to install the module on fresh prestashop same version  where it is working fine. dont know why i am getting this issue, tried everything. uninstalled, cleared caches done everything.

There is definitly something wrong with the module as the SQL syntax is invalid. Contaxt tte module developer to fix it. In the meantime you can try to remove the part of the ASC statement from the module file

It is necessary to correct the sql query in the module.
GROUP BY ... ASC will not work.
Need to change to ORDER BY ... ASC.

Or put ORDER BY ... ASC before GROUP BY ...

thanks for your reply,will try that, however if i remove "ASC" from the query. it still working, just want to know if removing ASC will affect anything?

just for information , the issue is with  mySQL version 8.0 only , on mySQL version 5.0 it does not give any error.

Just saw your message , yes you are rite if i remove the ASC (not all statement but just the Word ASC ) it will work fine.

what will affect if ASC is removed?
