Change Prestashop theme

Hello everybody,

I just wanted to know I did all my products and I wanted to change the theme of prestashop, will it delete all my products? or I have to do something?

Hi,

No, it won't delete any products or make changes - but depending on the theme some things may show on screen and some may not.    So you may have to make changes to the theme.  Best to test it on a offline clone version of your shop first.

Also make sure you have a backup.  Always make a fresh backup before making changes, esp. something like a new theme.

tip:  learn to build a development copy of your shop.  Then you can test change (theme kinda big change)....always have a development copy to work with before applying changes to production,.
