PRODUCT DETAILS cant find where to enter them

Hello,

I use prestashop 1.7 and I want to order the product details for my products.   When I go to the link on the user side, I can only see Specific References.   If I go to my admin page for the products, I can see 2 tabs Summary and Description...  Not sure how to enable the details one....

Thanks to all for your help.

Frederic

Do you have a module installed that will add a tab to your product detail?
If so, turn off the module and clear the cache.
If the problem disappears, contact the author of the module.
Another solution is to rename and delete the dev and prod folders in the ./var/cache folder

Thanks for your suggestions Guest.  I have deleted prod directory.  No Dev directory present.  When I restarted the admin, then a new prod directory was created.

I did not add any modules to add a tab in the product details.  Is there such module?  What would be the name?  Maybe I can try to locate it.

Kind regards,

Frederic

Hi,

Default setup:  Those details get pulled in automatically from product features.

Anything you enter as a feature will show up in the table. (if you are using a 3rd party theme it should be confired to pull them in).

Add a feature and see if it shows up in the table.

Hello  NPO

I have added a feature and yes, it shows on the product details with Data sheet written above.

Specific References is still written and I am not sure where I can enter those details

I would like to have the tab used for the packing and technical details for the products.  Any suggestion for a free module to use or what I have should do it?

Thank you

Frederic

The Reference also comes from the default info on the product page.

Not sure where the 'Specific Reference' comes from - must be the 3rd party theme.

If you have a theme configuration module (that came with the theme) you may be able to change things there, or you may have to look for the .tpl file to make changes.

There are lots of modules out there that will add new tabs -  you can pick one that does exactly what you want it to do.  Make sure it works with your version of Presta and your 3rd party theme.  (I'm not using any extra tabs mods, so can't recommend anything).
