MikeGracer
Hello guys, please bare with me since I am not a developer, programmer or a tech wiz just a simple bloke trying to figure out some things on my site. After some reasearch I managed to creat a new Zone and go to Countries assign a specific country to that zone. All is well. Added a carrier made the weight ranges as I wanted for that specific carier/zone but now when I try to check out I instantly get max shipping costs from the last weight range I have. Please see pictures attached if it helps. Thanx in advance Mike Edited May 22, 2020 by MikeGracer (see edit history)

sdalcorn
I have this same issue. I have 2 virtually identical products. Both weigh around 60grams and are only 30mm x 30mm x 20mm My shipping rates (vary by zone), but are say; 1g ~ 480g $10 481g ~ 980g $15 981g ~ 1980g $20 1981g ~ 2980g $25 2981g ~ 4980g $30 (or something like that) In almost ALL cases, Prestashop will charge the customer the maximum shipping. The *only* thing I can think of is that PrestaShop installs setup as kilograms and cm (from memory) as default. At some point I discovered this setting and felt grams and mm were more appropriate for my store. The product I am having issues with is product ID # 2 - I am wondering if there is something wrong with the data of this product because it was most likely created before I changed the system settings to millimetres and grams Does this scenario gel with you Mike? MikeGracer
Same thing happens to me. I ll just delete and reupload the product I guess an see if its fixed!
sdalcorn
Do you think you also changed weight / dimension units at some point? Actually, I just checked and I've lied in my original post. The product that I was testing and working fine is actually record #1 and the one that is only bringing up maximum shipping is product #2, so it can not be the reason I suspected. PS: When do my posts stop needing to be approved? sdalcorn
The shipping is crazy! If I add an item to a cart as a guest, the shipping is $30 (wrong) If I then log in, shipping is $15 (correct) If I add the 'problem' product as above, it's wrong again
