Possible to set permissions by Module?

I have hired someone to work on my marketing which requires access to a few modules...but I want to restrict him from being able to see all my other modules, which includes sensitive configuration data.

Is this possible?

Unfortunately it's a bit too late! I just found a hack-ish work around:

1) Create a duplicate back office (e.g. /backoffice)
2) Remove all the tabs
3) Remove the "Back to modules list" link
4) Create Quick Access links to each of the required modules
