Tomorrows System
Dear All As mentioned in topic My Prestahop have a big trouble with PayPal payments. The issues are related with antivirus software and their online banking protection called also "safe web browsers". I have already tested it with 4 the most common antivirus developers (ESET, Norton, Kaspersky, McAfee) Whenever someone tries to make a payment on our website (www.optlasers.com) and uses a regular browser, at the payment stage when he chooses to use the payment via PayPal - a secure module from the antivirus program opens. The entire session is transferred to a secure browser provided by the developer of the anti-virus program, e.g. ESET, and then a payment error occurs. As I checked - at the moment of transferring data from a normal browser to the secure payment module - data with cookies is not loaded so that the secure browser cannot see what it is paying for. I also checked that if I start the entire purchase process in our store, using a secure anti-virus module from beginning till end, then there is no payment problem which confirms my theory of not loading cookies from a normal browser into a secure module. I also checked that if I start the entire purchase process in the store using a secure anti-virus module then there is no payment problem which confirms my theory of not loading cookies from a normal browser into a secure module. Later on the day I'll also attach a movie on YouTube with capture of my screen to shows you guys the issue I'm describing- I need to blur the data first If by any chance you guys could find a solution, I would be grateful, since 90 % of payments on our store has been done on PayPal so far...
