Edit content of CMS Block in the footer

Recommended Posts

Hi forum

Maybe it's an easy one, but i simply can't find the solution:

I would like to edit the content of the CMS Block in the footer and also remove the "Powered by Prestashop"-text, but I can't find out how to do it.

I've found several guides saying that it is the blockvariouslink module - but I don't have that module? or at least: I can't find it :(

thanks in advance

Hi majbom,
I don´t know if anyone has answered already, anyway here´s how you do it.
The module is blockcms and to remove "Powered by Prestashop" you remove the following line in blockcms.tpl:

{l s='Powered by' mod='blockcms'} PrestaShop™

You can also edit the rest of the links.

I have got the same thing. Funny thing is...I made this site originally on my local server and this whole "Powered by", Copyright, like us on Facebook...stuff never showed up. When I transferred the site to the live server it now all shows up in the footer for the first time and I cannot get rid of it.

I have tried all the suggestions above with no luck. Any other ideas?

Thank you!

Slade
