Courier availability based on product in-stock or out-of-stock status

Hi there,

I am new to Prestashop and I would like to know if there is a possibility (or a module) for a shipping model I want to use.

I plan to sell products from Europe to Taiwan and I have storage room in Taiwan that I can use to keep small amount of products.

These products I want to mark as in-stock and I want to assign Courier 1 to them: 0 - 10 kg, cheap shipping, 5 business days delivery time.

Products that are out-of-stock still need to be orderable, but they cannot use Courier 1, only Courier 2: 10+ kg,  higher shipping fee (best would be if it was calculated based on products weight), 30 business days delivery time.

Plus ofcourse if I have 5 pieces of Product A in-stock and customer orders 6+ pieces he has to use only Courier 2.

Does anybody has experience with this settings and can help me?

The 'Ship in 3D' -shipping module lets you configure minimum stock quantity for a shipping method.

A shipping method is disabled if any product’s available stock quantity minus cart quantity is lower than this configuration value.

Example: Set to 0 if shipping method must be disabled if any of order’s products is out of stock.

The ‘Ship in 3D’ shipping module also provides many more additional shipping configuration settings not available otherwise.
