rka81
Hello, i have had quite a serious problme just happen - I was importing Catergories using a CSV, and i got a Server 500 error - I have now noticed that within the Catalog tab my "Home" category - the default one has been renamed to something else that was part of my upload. I think as this no longer read "Home" and there may be some scripts/php that relies on this catergory being name "home" my back office is not working properly - I cannot add anymore categories without getting the 500 server error and I have no idea how to rename the default category as "home" again manually!!!! I really hope someone can help me out of this mess as i dont really want to re-install my shopthanks
TropischBruin
This is done via phpMyAdmin directly into your database.Find the wrong name and change it in the ps_category_lang table.

LifeOnSite
Help! The unthinkable has happened! A quick search on the forum led me to download a csv template to upload products onto my website. Using the categories as 1,4. I have now over-written things and getting the 505 error! I didn't see this thread or I would have been more careful. I just thought I could move products to the right categories if needed. Only to discover that I was actually replacing the home! What do I do? LifeOnSite
Finally got the Home back by going to the database. But I have two new sub-categories that I didn't create.Categories and 1,4. I don't now know where to change these. If there's any help out there.....thanks.
