Hi guys, I've spent last two hours trying to figure out a solution, without success, maybe you can help. My category descriptions are quite long (and I want to keep them long, because there's lot of useful information in it), but I don't want it to consume too much space on the screen. As you can see on attached screenshot, category description consumes almost half of the page. I want to achieve this: On page load (default view when I go inside any category) there would be only a shorter version of description (let's say 300 digits). If customer clicks on the link "More", the table with description would expand to full length (without reloading the page). It already drives me nuts. If anybody could give me a hint, I would really really really appreciate. I use Presta 1.4.8.2., with prestashop theme 1.5 (PS - I'm not a programmer, it's more less my hobby, so please try to use simple language Thank you in advance S.

Hello Carl, Thank you very much for the answer, I really appreciate. It's much better to know, that it's a matter of weeks, than having no info at all, following all possible sources and just hope "maybe they release it today". I can't wait that long, so I'll start with 1.4.7 and hope for a smooth upgrade once a stable version of 1.5 appears. Thank you! Dear Prestashop team staff, I have quite long experience in online sales (as an emplyee and manager). Finally in the beginning of 2012 I have decided to set up my first own online business and decided to use Prestashop 1.5, because I have good experience with previous versions, and love your multistore solution I saw in Beta. I have made a detailed business plan and schedule, registered a company, leased office, signed contract with my first employee and with suppliers. We are ready to start online sales, but we miss the the key part - the store. I follow your website, blog, forums every day - and what concerns me the most, there is only silence when it comes to 1.5 release (the release was expected at the end Feb. according to your information, since then there is only silence). In my understanding, if there is silence, it means either: - you will release RC version VERY soon or - you are so far from the RC version, that you can't even define the release date. I understand when Apple has complete information embargo, and suddenly boom "we have new iPhone 5" and everybody is happy. But please understand, this is different: your store is an important business tool, and we need to have information, when can we start using it. I also understand, that you have some communication rules, and maybe only few people are authorised to give information regarding new version releases. If you can't give us any detailed information, please just tell us at least if you are going to make any significant statement during the Barcamp in New York? (I highly expect it, because you promote the Barcamp quite strong). To be honest, I love Prestashop, but if I don't get any information regarding 1.5 soon, I will have to give up and search for other solution. Simply because at the moment my business is not running, and I'm losing money I would be really greatful, if you could reply my message and give us at least some hint. Thank you very much!

Také řeším problém s feedem pro 1.4.3, kromě IMGURL mně zlobí ještě informace o dostupnosti. Pokud má někdo návrh jak toto řešit, nebo zná feed který dobře "spolupracuje" s 1.4.3 tak bych byl nesmírně vděčný. Díky.

Ahoj, můj první post na tomto foru. Už delší dobu čtu, hodně jste mi zatím pomohli. Tontokrát píšu sám první dotaz, protože jsem na něj za boha nikde nenašel odpověď. Stavím svůj první shop na Presta 1.4.3, doposud šlo vše hladce. Ale momentálně se snažím rozchodit xml feed pro zbozi/heureku. Vycházel jsem ze soboru xml-uni.php od kolegy Sem Tam. Zadrhl jsem se na 2 problémech: 1) odkazy na obrázky. Presta 1.4.3 má zřejmě nový systém rozdělování obrázků do katalogů, konkrétně obrázek s ID 50 se nachází v .../img/p/5/0/50-home.jpg , nebo obrázek s ID 31 se nachází v .../img/p/3/1/31-home.jpg Nevím jak upravit kód v PHP tak by se mi do feedu generovaly správné odkazy k obrázkům. Momentálně tam je http://www.xxxxxxxxxx.cz/img/p/'.$row['id_product'].'-'.$img['id_image'].'-home.jpg což mi generuje chybné odkaz. 2) DELIVERY_DATE - u všech produktů se mi zobrazuje údaj 7, který napovídá že nemám nic skladem v kódu mám '.($row[‘quantity’] > 0 ? '1' : '7').' Nevíte jak to upravit aby to fungovalo správně? Budu vděčný za pomoc. V PHP se nevyznám proto jsem odkázaný na Vás profíky Díky.
