Sorted out now with a modify of the original code, still..this is something that those at Presta should really look into it, virtual products don't need physical address and the email is enough for receive details of payment.

e non e necessariamente obbligatoria..infatti ho rixhiesto una modifica che funge non e nemmeno costosa.

e una cosa richiesta a gran voce..va bene il prodotto fisico va bene ma provare a spiegare al cliente che lamenta i troppi carrelli lasciati in fase di registrazione e difficile considera anche che recentemente anche Paypal richiede una registrazione obbligatoria il che dilunga alquanto il processo di acquisto..

un prodotto virtuale non ha un indirizzo fisico...e cone scritto il mio cliente ha solo prodotti da scaricare..

Beh..nelle preferenze esiste un settaggio x avere solo la registrazione di account Senza Indirizzo ( solo account ) ma in realta' non cambia nulla sulla form quindi puo' essere dichiarato un bug...e comunque non sono solo in questa richiesta che era si di apportare una modifica al codice visto che forzare un cliente ad una registrazione lunga in molti casi equivale a lasciare il carrello senza proseguire...OLTRETUTTO quando il cliente come nel mio caso possiede in buono del 100% del valore in carrello da pagare si vede costretto a eseguire la registrazione comunque che se rimane di 3 campi va bene ed e necessaria per la email di consegna del prodotto virtuale ma l'indirizzo di consegna non dovrebbe apparire nella form ..invece..ho richiesto una modifica trovata anche economica diciamo...vediamo

no there is not..there are 2 types of Registration avail, one is account only the second is account AND address but at least on my installtion no changes are applied on the registration form as I already explained....

did it already BUT although I'm using the Account Only type option no changes are really happening and the delivery address is still present even with Guest Checkout, maybe a BUG but cannot ait any longer and I had to splash money for a plugin to disable the delivery address in the registration form

BUMP nobody? so, If I turn the shop in Virtual only I have to stick customers into filling a long delivery address detail form that will be never used? Losing business as many are leaving the cart because of too much to fill in the registration form

Salve a tutti, qualcuno e' riuscito a disabilitare l'indirizzo di consegna che appare nella form di registrazione nuovi clienti? Purtroppo il mio cliente ha solo Prodotti Virtuali e la form di consegna e' alquanto lunga e non si puo' saltare MA essendo il prodotto solamente virtuale basta la prima fase di registrazione, non capisco perche' non puo' essere disabilitata da amministrazione... Qualcuno ha lo stesso problema? Grazie

Si ora si, ed e' un problema grosso perche' il mio cliente e' furioso per la perdita di denaro soggetto al fatto che paypal IMPONE una registrazione

Purtroppo ora sembra propio di no, l'opzione non e' piu' disponibile , ho chiesto gia' 2 volte ma nulla...se non il conto PRO che comunque non e' automatico ma a giudizio della paypal ( entrata minima mensile etc..) un problema non da poco, devo trovare veloce alternativa

As for client requests I need to let customer proceed to payment without registering and so upon the first check ( i chose Instant Checkout ) the customer is facing The First Step "Account" option, one is to Checkout as a registered already and the other 2 are as a GUEST or to create an Account.. I assume that as I already enabled the Checkout as Guest in the administration should help the client to not have to enter any data but to proceed to payment with the module chosen WHICH cannot be seen if you are not actually registered (????), instead, if the Checkout as guest is chosen the customer is sent to a form to fill including the Address?? and as the item is virtual one it is unlikely to happen that the download is sent by post.. I also noticed that the Paypal module that feature Express Checkout, if selected, does show a Button to proceed to payment at the top of the steps skipping all the procedures anyway... SO...how do I allow customers to just pay without ANY registration to do? I'm using PS 1.6.0.9 P.S. It looks that Paypal is actually changing their policy to pay ithout registering an account to them AS WELL and that is a major breakdown as I already have my client pressing to simplify the process as short as it could be... sadly PAYPAL did confirm me that the only way of paying through them without forcing customers to open a PAYPAL account is to open a PRO account BUT it will only be accepted IF your monthly entries are around 4000 Euro...how bad is that.... (at least in my country ITALY). so I will look for a decent alternative, but for now this GUEST CHECKOUT in PS is quite confusing.. PLEASE I NEED HELP QUICK Thank you
