Thank you both for your reply! When I went back into the SQL tables, the ps_category table was blank (no rows). I had backed everything up when I first started building my store so I was able to recreate the table & it works now. I'm not fluent in SQL but pick up on "how to's" pretty quickly - thankfully. I'm guessing I over wrote the table when I did the upload & had a new category (my own) for IDS 1 & 2. Ugh - I'm such a Prestashop newbie I WON'T be making THAT mistake again!

I have been unable to edit categories in my Prestashop since yesterday. Everything was working perfectly until I uploaded a CSV file and accidentally overwrote my home & root categories. My store is new so I was comfortable with dumping my entire installation and installed Prestashop in a new directory & database but it is still doing the same thing. I am at a loss. I don't understand how a completely new install is still resolving to the old issue - I've cleaned all files from folders with my hosting service as well. I've attached a screenshot of the error I'm getting as well as a screenshot of what my Catalog module looks like. Very empty Thanks to anyone that can assist me with this.
